What grades are qualified for Middle School athletics?
Cross Country- All Grades
Boys Soccer- All Grades
Girls Tennis- Grade 7 & 8
Girls Volleyball- Grade 7 & 8
Flag Football- Grade 7
Tackle Football- Grade 8
Boys Basketball- Grade 7 & 8
Girls Swimming- All Grades
Dance- All Grades
Girls Basketball- Grade 7 & 8
Boys Swimming- All Grades
Wrestling- All Grades
Track and Field- Grade 7 & 8
Girls Soccer- All Grades
Boys Tennis- Grade 7 & 8
Softball- All Grades
What days and times are practices?
All sports except volleyball and basketball practice Monday, Tuesday, Thursday, and Friday from 3:00-4:30 PM
Depending on numbers volleyball and basketball may be split practice between grades. 7th grade- 3:00-4:30 PM, 8th grade- 4:30-6:00 PM.
*There is an after-school study club available for 8th grade volleyball and basketball students from 3:00-4:30 PM. Athletes may choose to leave school and return at 4:15pm or participate in after-school study club.

Will transportation be provided to and from competitions?
Transportation will always be provided to a competition. For games/meets at DeLong, Northstar, Regis, and Altoona Middle Schools, parents/guardians will need to make arrangements for the athlete to be picked up at that location, there will be no transportation back to South. For all other out-of-district contests, athletes are returned to South by bus or, parents/guardians may complete the ECASD Alternate Transportation Form to make other arrangements for their athlete.
*Football is an exception. Due to football equipment, football athletes will always be returned to South by bus.
